This year, our focus is Brain, Body and Back Again: Mental Health through Embodiment and Prevention. This points to our dedication to framing mental health firmly at the intersection of biology and psychology, and examining how our biochemical systems (neuroendocrine, immune, metabolic, etc.) interact with our psychological ones (trauma, ACEs, chronic stress, difficult life circumstances, etc.) and our lifestyle choices and habits.​
Once again, we have sought to have a balance between these three areas in our programming, between recurring and new speakers, and between deeper dives and overviews.
What the programme covers
This year, IMMH introduces two CE tracks and one non- CE track, allowing us to maintain our rigorous further educational programme, while creating space to hear more about novel therapies, diagnostic tools and treatments. ​
​We will also do deeper dives into psychoneuroimmunology, trauma, neurodegeneration, child and adolescent mental health and metabolic psychiatry. ​
